Laser Protection Advisor Services

LPA Services

We are now able to offer a range of LPA services for all users of lasers and IPL units. Such services are required in England and Wales under current CQC regulations for all clinics offering Class 3B or 4 Lasers and IPL treatments for non-hair services. Mike (our LPA) is a member of the Association of Laser Safety Professionals.

Services include:


Site report - following a visit to your facility a site report we will detail the equipment curently in use and their safety rating.


Recommendations - we will make a list of necessary recommendations, if required, to ensure your facility complies with current legislation and safety regulations.


Local Rules - a set of Local Rules will be drawn up for any laser in use which requires them.


Laser/IPL Safety Advice - safety advice will be offered where necessary.


Laser Information for Hospitals - information required by hospital consultants will be offered in case of an unwanted ocular exposure.


Risk Assessment - a full risk assessment will be carried out in your facility to ensure that you and your staff are fully aware of all possible hazards and how to minimise them.


Laser Warning Sign(s) - appropriate warning signs will be provided for each piece of equipment which requires them.


Telephone Advice - we will be available for assistance by phone or email when necessary
